Planet Sport Acquires Football Coaching Company, PSR
Planet Sport has announced the acquisition of PSR Coaching Ltd, the leading football coaching business in Surrey.
"We are delighted that PSR has joined the Planet Sport group and this acquisition fits perfectly with our national development plans" commented Chris Vertannes, Managing Director of Planet Sport.

The 2012 Olympic Games are fast approaching and schools have a mandate to increase the number of hours of physical activity from 2 to 5 hours per week. Sport remains a hot topic and Planet Sport continues to be a driving force behind increasing participation in schools and clubs across the country.
Rises in both child obesity and inactivity levels is a key national issue facing schools, clubs and parents. The acquisition of PSR takes Planet Sport a step closer to ensuring more children improve their health and well being by staying active through its many sports coaching initiatives.

We would like to inform you that PSR/PS Football are in proposal to increase the football opportunities for families abroad at international resorts, with our relationship with Powder Byrne. Each year we have successfully delivered programmes in Elba, Italy, but we hope to expand our professional services to Spain and Dubai for the new holiday season.
Back to School
We would like to inform you that our school based programmes will officially commence from the 6th September. Seasonal Club Coaching
PSR/Planet Sport Football is providing opportunities for clubs and teams to receive 1st class coaching support for the new season. We are offering specific professional programmes to clubs which run from September to May 2011, and the partnerships we are offering will provide a great opportunity for all players, managers and teams to develop performance throughout the season. Club Coaching Camps
Our football department can also offer specific coaching opportunities during the summer school holidays over 2 – 3 day periods for U7 – U16 teams. The schemes are currently proving to be a huge success with managers who value the daily professional coaching opportunities. Congratulations!
We would like to give our congratulations to Steve Lapere whilst announcing his departure from the company. Since joining PSR last year, Steve has now been given the opportunity to work part time with Aldershot Elite F.C.
